The Kilobaser One DNA Synthesizer is a benchtop instrument engineered for rapid, single-oligo synthesis of standard DNA sequences using proprietary microfluidic technology. Designed with simplicity and user independence in mind, the system utilizes a sealed disposable chip and pre-filled reagent cartridge, eliminating the risk of leaks, reagent handling errors, and cross-contamination. DNA synthesis is completed with a fast 2.5-minute cycle per base, followed by a 30–50 minute post-processing step, resulting in ready-to-use oligos within a few hours. The micro column within the chip supports a total yield of up to 300 pmol per run with a coupling efficiency of 99.5–99.7%. Operation requires only nitrogen or argon gas and is controlled via an integrated touchscreen or remotely via PC/mobile. The compact footprint (27 × 33 × 33 cm) makes it ideal for any laboratory setting. Kilobaser One supports offline and online control and includes basic technical support. It is a plug-and-play solution tailored for researchers who require efficient, on-demand DNA synthesis without the complexity of traditional synthesizers.
