The Kilobaser One-XT builds on the Kilobaser One platform with extended capabilities for synthesizing modified DNA, RNA, and DNA probes, making it a versatile tool for advanced genomics research. Like the basic model, it utilizes a closed microfluidic chip and reagent cartridge system to ensure safe, leak-free synthesis with no manual reagent preparation. The system offers a rapid 2.5-minute cycle time per base and a total yield of 300 pmol per synthesis with coupling efficiency between 99.5% and 99.7%. Unlike the base model, the One-XT supports extended and scientific-level synthesis protocols, offers digital controls for parameter adjustments, and includes expanded technical and scientific support. Key features include a dual-mode control interface (touchscreen and remote), real-time system monitoring, and complete waste containment within the cartridge. The system maintains a compact benchtop footprint (27 × 33 × 33 cm) and operates with nitrogen or argon gas. Ideal for researchers needing access to modified oligos and RNA synthesis in-house, the One-XT provides autonomy, flexibility, and efficiency in a streamlined, next-generation platform.
