The Koehler K23900 Kinematic Viscosity Bath provides a reliable, high-precision platform for determining the kinematic viscosity of petroleum products in compliance with ASTM D445, D6074, D6158, and related international standards including ISO 3104, DIN 51550, and IP 71. The bath accommodates up to seven glass capillary viscometers, with LED illumination and a baffled background for optimal visibility. A microprocessor PID temperature controller maintains exceptional bath temperature stability and uniformity (±0.02 °C) across a programmable range of 20 °C to 100 °C, with dual digital displays for real-time monitoring of actual and setpoint values. Built-in safety features include redundant over-temperature protection and low liquid level cut-off circuitry. The stainless steel bath is equipped with integrated stirring, USB connectivity, and a built-in cooling coil that allows sub-ambient temperature operation using tap water or an external chiller.
