Engineered for Crude Oil Haulers and field operations, the Robinson 800 Series Heated Centrifuge meets API 10.4 testing standards for determining sediment and water (S&W) content in crude oil. Operating on a 12VDC vehicle power supply, the centrifuge is electrically heated and thermostatically controlled to maintain ideal sample temperatures. Constructed from corrosion-resistant, solid-cast aluminum, the durable housing is built to withstand the rigors of field use. The system includes a built-in high-efficiency sample heater and smooth-start variable speed rheostat for precise motor RPM control and reduced tube breakage. Available configurations include 2-place or 4-place heads for 100mL short cone tubes, with optional A-style flip lids or compact B-style split lids. The modular design allows easy replacement of internal components without dismounting the unit, while IP68-rated heater switches protect against environmental wear. The circular bowl design with ball-bearing shaft support enhances centrifuge balance and extends motor life. Sample heating pockets reach 140°F quickly, ensuring readiness in demanding conditions, while a lid access hole allows convenient RPM checks using a handheld tachometer. All models are compact, vehicle-compatible, and optimized for high-accuracy, low-power crude oil field testing.
