Robinson Butterfly Valve Oil Thief

Originally engineered by Robinson, the Butterfly Valve Oil Thief has become the industry standard for efficient and reliable oil sampling. Its internal quarter-turn concentric valve mechanism allows for a more compact design, enabling the thief to pass through openings as small as 5 inches in diameter. The integrated butterfly valve provides rapid bottom-end sample release, while a replaceable rubber O-ring ensures leak-proof operation. Four sturdy legs on the bottom casting allow the thief to double as a stable hydrometer cylinder. The top casting features a convenient hanger hook for storage. The single-trip action, simple closure tension adjustment, and graduated trip rod allow for versatile operation. Barrels are available in clear plastic, brass, or aluminum and in 12", 16", and 18" lengths. Optional drain valves can be installed at various heights for custom sampling needs.
